Kulturlab is an independent production unit for contemporary art
Mission
KulturLab is an independent production unit, created to promote, produce and present intercultural artistic projects, as well as to encourage mobility of artists and networking on international level.
The unit focuses on developing and strengthening European artistic dialogue and aims at attracting wider interest and creating an easy access to cultural productions among younger people and disadvantaged communities.
KulturLab also assists small artistic groups in preparing their fundraising applications and the international and regional presentation of their projects.
The organization is mainly involved in performing arts (theatre and modern dance), photography, literature and documentary films, and is passionate about projects of mixed artistic methods, as well as artistic products created with the means of new technology.
KulturLab advocates the decentralization of culture and is interested in projects, initiated, produced and presented outside of capitals and major cities.
